In this 3 hour workshop, you will learn the basics of Soap Making.
Take this opportunity to make your own soap from scratch, using oils that you can buy in the supermarket. In the theory part you will find out how soap works and you will learn about the cold process method of soap making.
Topics covered include colouring and fragrancing your soap, adding other ingredients such as clays and exfoliants to your soaps, natural soapmaking, and troubleshooting. During the practical session, you will make a small loaf of soap (500 ml), which is approximately 4 full sized or 8 guest sized bars of soap. All materials and ingredients are included, and each participant will also receive a silicon soap mould that they get to keep.

WHAT STUDENTS WAY ABOUT SOAP MAKING:
Tiffany W. (August 2022)
Gorgeous setting at Uxbridge in Howick. Great studio set up and healthy yummy food options at the cafe. The soap-making course was well worth it. I learnt so much about the scientific side with fascinating soap history to boot! The teacher was passionate and very knowledgeable and whole-heartedly willing to share her ‘secrets’ of soap-making.
