Kia ora! I’m Jackie or as many know me: the soap lady! I’ve been stirring my soap pot for over 20 years and teaching soap making and other courses for the past 10 years. Making my own skin care products has always been my obsession and I love to pass on my knowledge and passion to others.

The advantage of making your own skin care products and your handmade soap is that you get to control what goes in it. No nasty chemicals or ingredients! You can make them as organic as you want them to be and you can use ingredients that you know are safe and non-toxic to your skin and body. You control the whole process from buying your ingredients to making your final product. So come and check out one of my courses!

When I’m not stirring my soap pot (or cooking up something yummy in the kitchen), you’ll find me either walking my silly dog at the beach, having a chat with a friend at one of the many local cafes here in Auckland, visiting a farmers market or simply enjoying life with my beautiful, supportive family.
