Cheesemaking Masterclass – Halloumi and Paneer!

If you’re a fan of cheese, you won’t want to miss our Halloumi and Paneer cheesemaking masterclass! Join us to learn the art of crafting these two delectable cheeses from scratch.

Led by our expert cheesemaker, Julie Craig from Oak and Thistle learn the step-by-step process of making Halloumi and Paneer cheeses. We use high quality ingredients to achieve the perfect texture and flavour. You’ll learn about the traditional methods used to make these cheeses, as well as the latest techniques and trends in artisanal cheesemaking.

Julie will show you in just 2 hours how making your own cheese can transform how you manage your kitchen, incorporating cheese making into your life and making an economical fresh product for a healthier diet. It tastes better, you know where all of the ingredients come from and you only need to put aside a small amount of time to make it. The masterclass/demonstration will include heat, curdle, stretch and shaping the cheeses. Through the session you will get to see and feel the transformations that happens as cheese develops. You will also gain a deep appreciation for the care and skill required to create these artisanal products. In our demonstrations, we use high-quality ingredients, ensuring that the cheeses are both delicious and healthy.

Our Halloumi and Paneer cheesemaking session is the perfect opportunity to meet other cheese enthusiasts, learn new skills, and indulge your love of all things cheesy.

Halloumi and Paneer cheeses feature in many recipes. They require little time to make but you need to learn the important techniques that will make the difference and help with success.

 

ABOUT CHEESEMAKING:

Our sessions are designed to be demonstration style where you listen, learn and taste. You will take home all the recipes so you can get making and perfecting your own delicious cheeses.
