FREE Grow your own Microgreens workshop for kids!
At UXBRIDGE in Howick, Ali, one of our friendly Compost Collective facilitators, will run this fun, interactive grow your own microgreens workshop for kids and whānau. Discover the world of microgreens, sprouts, and homegrown salads. There will be plenty of interactive activities for the whole whānau! Perfect for kids aged 6 and above.
Children will learn why reducing food waste matters and how to grow microgreens at home. Each child will make a take-home growing kit using recycled materials. In this workshop trays, potting mix, and seeds are all provided so participants can do the planting themselves and take everything home.
This workshop is designed for children aged 6+ and above AND their caregivers.
Please register one ticket per child and one ticket per adult.
Each child must be accompanied by one adult.
