Woodworking: Waste to Wonder
Our eco-friendly woodworking series is an opportunity over the duration of three days children will make and paint two useful wooden projects they will be proud of.
The first day children will make a planter box for herbs or flowers. The second day they will get on to making a Bird Feeding House. The third day will be the finishing day where your child will sand, paint, decorate and plant. Children will bring two fully completed projects which have been made using repurposed timbers.
This course is hands-on where your child will learn new and valuable skills in working with recycled timber. Each day’s skills building on the next. They will learn various woodworking techniques and correct use of standard woodworking tools along with good health and safety practises included.
We have designed creative ways of repurposing items into projects that are creative and that children will enjoy making and using.
Practical sessions hands-on sessions, where children learn new and valuable skills. Sign your children up to our Woodworking Waste to Wonder workshops and give them life skills!
