🖌️ Step into the soft, shimmering world of Claude Monet in Day with Monet canvas painting workshop, specially designed for children aged 6+. In this relaxing and inspiring school holiday session, young artists will explore the beauty of Monet’s famous lily pond scene while creating their own impressionist-style masterpiece on canvas.
Guided step-by-step by Siobhan, our friendly and experienced art tutor, children will learn essential painting techniques including colour mixing, brush control, layering, and blending. They’ll discover how to create sparkling water, floating lily pads, delicate flowers, and gentle reflections using vibrant acrylic paints. Through expressive brushstrokes and playful colour combinations, each child will bring their own version of a lily pond to life.
🎨 This hands-on canvas workshop is perfect for beginners and confident young artists alike. All materials are provided, including acrylic paints, brushes, and canvas, so children can fully relax and enjoy the creative process. Along the way, they’ll develop fine motor skills, build confidence, and feel proud as they complete a finished artwork ready to hang at home.
The studio is calm, supportive, and encouraging. Children will paint alongside others, share ideas, and be inspired by one another in a welcoming creative space.
