Crazy Clay: Make & Glaze October Holiday workshop in Auckland.

Let your child’s imagination run wild as they discover the calming and creative aspects of working with clay. In the Crazy Clay: Make and Glaze workshop Jino will teach your children clay techniques and give lot’s of project ideas, They will create their own interesting characters, ornaments, and keepsakes to enjoy. The first session your child will design and make lots of fun items. The second session their projects will be ready and waiting to be brought to life as they are painted and fired again to form durable and strong treasures.

This workshop has two parts:
Session One:  Friday 26 September   1 – 4pm             Children make and create
Session Two:  Friday 3 October          11am – 12pm    Children decorate and glaze

About the Crazy Clay tutor Jino:

Jino is an experienced tutor and ceramicist. He has worked with clay and in different clay centres for many years with his preferred personal work being on the wheel.
See his tutor profile here. He is passionate about all things ceramic and will help and guide children to ‘fire up’ their imagination. Jino will give children the confidence to get stuck in and let their hands do their thing!

About Your Tutor:

Jino Jeong

Jino Jeong

Jino Jeong is an Auckland-based ceramicist. Jino was born in Seoul and trained in ceramics at Kyunggi University in South Korea. He then spent a year at the highly prestigious Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute in China, the only dedicated university to ceramic arts in China. Now living in Auckland, Jino works from his studio experimenting with scale and glaze to create a unique body of work.
