Drawing has always been my passion.
I left school and gained a distinction during my 2 year Pre diploma course in Art & Design, studying all aspects of art. Including History of Art, Costume, Furniture, Animation, Printmaking, Photography and Commercial design.

I then chose to do my 3 year arts degree in Fashion, at Loughborough college of Art & Design, Studying History of Fashion, Fashion Illustration, Pattern Cutting & Grading, Tailoring, etc. After many years in the fashion industry and the introduction of CAD Computer aided design, I decided to leave the industry. However my creative skills still burned, so around 2000 I joined several art groups with the intention of learning to paint, eventually becoming president of the Howick Art Group from 2015 to 2020

Although I have painted in many mediums I love to paint in watercolour, and pastel, and my usual subjects are people, pets and flowers. I have won several prizes for my work over the last 10 years
