John holds a NZ Teaching Diploma Level 7, qualifications in furniture construction and holds an advanced certificate in fitting and turning.
He is multi-talented and loves sharing his carpentry and carving skills to others.
In John’s spare time he enjoys music, football, and tramping.
John enjoys giving opportunities and new experiences to students. He tries to be creative with his teaching style, so children become fully engaged in the activity or project they are working on.
John currently teaches our Woodworking – Waste to Wonder 3 day course in the School Holiday Programme
