“introverted romantic, soulful provocative & careless offensive”

Born in South Africa 1985; the youngest of four siblings, raised in the small village of Steynsrus in Free State. Both of my parents are teachers by trade, however my mum is magical with any type of needle work, has green fingers and is a natural story teller, whilst dad is a woodworker and self taught painter.

Artist at heart, gracefully provocative and interfered romantic. I discovered pottery at the end of 2021, and fell in love with clay. I prefer hand building to throwing on the wheel – there is something about allowing the clay to shape your emotions and thoughts.

Influenced by my experiences, my upbringing within traditional religious belief systems as a young homosexual, and all of the mess, love and joy in between

My body of work is storytelling, by integrating mediums such as writing, sewing, embroidery, flowers and ceramics.
