Andrea Bizzarri is owner of Mission Bay’s popular Andrea Ristorante. Here he is renowned for providing “Simple, great tasting Italian cooking”.
Andrea exchanged life in his seaside town of Terracina for one a stones throw from an Auckland sandy shore in sparkling Waitemata.
The training which Andrea instills in his chefs began for him at cooking school in Ascolificeno in the Marche region of Italy.
A highlight in his career was in La Cirque a famous New York restaurant owned by Sirio Maccioni where the dishes were Haute cuisine. The restaurant kitchen was headed by Jacques Forres an infamous Chef whose dishes attracted a Galaxy of stars from Lisa Minnelli to Pavaroti.
Andrea loves what he does and loves to share the knowledge and passion he still has for cooking. We are pleased to welcome him to The UXBRIDGE.
