TOURS & EVENTS
The UXBRIDGE events programme has not been very active during 2020 but let’s not ponder on that. It is usually filled with a mix of vibrant and exciting events for all ages and cultures. Tours and visits to places of interest in and around the Auckland region also feature in our programme. We have a couple of upcoming events for 2020 but you should definitely ‘watch this space’ for our 2021 lineup.
THURSDAY 10 NOVEMBER,

This iconic North Shore event will once again take place in Devonport, Auckland at the historic Fort Takapuna O Peritu site. This stunning clifftop park with the backdrop of Rangitoto Island and the Hauraki Gulf lends itself perfectly to the staging of the country’s largest exhibition of contemporary sculpture.

Join UXBRIDGE Arts and Culture for a wonderful day viewing sculptures and getting up close with exotic animals at the world renowned Gibbs Farm. Gibbs Farm is a sculpture park like no other. Stroll across the manicured farm to view thoughtfully positioned, magnificent sculptures created by world class artists. Your visit will leave you stimulated, breathless, and eager for more.

The New Zealand Warbirds Association is an umbrella body dedicated to the restoration, preservation and operation of service aircraft in full flying condition. Warbirds was originally conceived in 1978 to preserve aircraft but the Association is a lot more than that now. Join us and enjoy much of what has been achieved.

For ages 14 – 18 years
Future focused workshops for people young in years and fresh with ideas. Develop confidence, resilience and fortitude to navigate turbulent and changing times through creativity and mixed media expression. Introduction and exploration of photography, storytelling, film, reflection and movement in a four-part series which will motivate and provide space for young people to feel seen, heard, and inspired.
Students will reframe their past, current and future outlook and gain a better understanding of themselves. Work produced will go forward to an exhibition in the Malcolm Smith Gallery.
