Garden of Memories
37 Uxbridge Road Howick, 2014
UXBRIDGE is surrounded by lovely gardens. There is a little stream and a native bush dell down the back. These gardens were established by Emilia Maud Nixon (1870-1962). Ms Nixon dedicated her life to promoting goodwill between all peoples by fostering understanding of the early settlers, pioneer women and the traditions of Māori, particularly Ngai Tai.
Notes: We ask that the gardens are treated with respect but it’s a great place for a treasure hunt or some other fun activity like a children’s party, picnic or summer evening cocktail event before you take in one of our shows. Wheelchair access.
