Yoga Men & Women evening course in Howick.

Relax – anyone can do yoga, however, we know it might feel intimidating at first and especially if you’ve seen your partners advanced poses.

Don’t worry – we’re not diving into pretzel-like positions yet. Unless, of course, you’re ready and comfortable to try them. Instead, we’ll start with simple, foundational postures. After all, these basic poses build strength and flexibility for both men and women.

Do you enjoy playing golf, tennis, bowls, squash or any other activities that require agility and flexibility? Are you strong but not necessarily bendy? Join this Yoga for Men and Women course and let Jacqui Pounder show you some great techniques to stretch out and help you stay injury-free.

There are many variations of yoga and we’ve designed this course to cater for women and to encourage men to practice more regularly. It is important to find the right style and one that will help ensure you keep up with your practice. Men, we think this one will!

Yoga is perfect for men and women, whether you are a beginner or more advanced or whether you are bendy or not. You will work at your own level in this course. This course will help you improve your flexibility, athletic capacity, strength, and mental clarity.

Men and women, beginners and advanced, bendy or not. If you are easing into yoga, then this will be the perfect class to start.

  • There is NO refund or a transfer if you cancel less than 7 days in advance or once the class/workshop has started. Our refund policy can be read in full here.
  • If the tutor is unwell or unavailable to teach a single session, often at short notice, it is our preference to find a suitable relief teacher. If we are unable to do this then a session will be added at the end of the advertised course OR a credit voucher or refund for that session will be offered.
  • Course prices may vary slightly between terms depending on the number of sessions (e.g. Term 3 may have 9 sessions, while Term 4 has 10). This is usually due to public holidays or long weekends.

Advance notice: A fee increase will take effect from February 2026.
