Soy Candle Making workshop in Auckland

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

Looking for a hands-on and interactive workshop that will teach you how to make beautiful, eco-friendly soy wax candles? Join us for our Soy Candle Making workshop, where you’ll learn everything from preparing and fragrancing the wax to pouring and caring for your candles.

Not only will you learn the ins and outs of candle-making, but you’ll also have the chance to bring your own containers. You can bring your own recycled containers, teacups, glasses, or jars, or choose from a selection provided by the tutor. Either way, you’ll end up with a finished product that’s both practical and beautiful.

Soy candles make perfect gifts for any occasion, or you can keep them for yourself to add a touch of natural beauty to your home. Plus, soy wax is environmentally friendly and won’t break the bank, making it an ideal choice for those who want to use natural-based products that are gentle on the planet and the wallet.

After your candles have cured, you can pick them up from UXBRIDGE on the following Monday. Taking care to avoid bubbles and defects will ensure that your candles are perfect and ready to use or gift.

Overall, our Soy Candle Making workshop is a fun and engaging way to learn how to create something beautiful and environmentally friendly. Whether you’re a beginner or have had a go at home but can’t get it right, you’ll have a blast learning and creating in our workshop. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to learn a new skill and have some fun!

WHAT YOU WILL GET

  • All the tips to make candles like a pro!
  • A hand-out to bring all the info home
  • 2 x 250ml candles you’ll be able to take home when cured

WHAT TO BRING?

There is nothing that you need to bring to this workshop.
The fee for the workshop includes all materials necessary to make 2 X 250ml candles, so there’s no need to bring anything.

However, if you have a specific vessel you want to use that’s larger than 65-70mm in diameter, please email us after booking with the diameter. The tutor Trisha Manalansan will then arrange the appropriate wick for you, though there will be an additional fee to pay to the tutor.

About Your Tutor:

Trisha Manalansan

Trisha Manalansan – teaching our Soy Candle Making workshops My love for candles started at a very young age of 12 and I have not been able to look back since! Personally, scented candles have always been able to offer me a sense of calmness, peace and balance in a world full of stimulation and commotion. Since attending my first candle workshop in July 2020, it sparked an idea of creating products I love that can be incorporated with mental health…
