This is a Soap Making – Christmas themed workshop . You’ll be making two small loaves (500 ml each) of Christmas soap (one completely natural) and this Candy Cane soap. Soaps can be themed and fragranced, cut into 4 standard sized bars or 8 smaller guest soaps. You may even have time to make some smaller soaps to individually wrap and use as tree decorations.
Soaps make for perfect stocking fillers and last minute gifts to give to teachers, swimming and dancing instructors, coaches, hairdressers, kindy teachers etc
You’ll also learn about soap making, how soap works, what you need to make soap, how to calculate your own recipes and how to use colourants and fragrances.

Gorgeous setting at Uxbridge in Howick. Great studio set up and healthy yummy food options at the cafe. The soap-making course was well worth it. I learnt so much about the scientific side with fascinating soap history to boot! The teacher was passionate and very knowledgeable and whole-heartedly willing to share her ‘secrets’ of soap-making.
