This Pilates 60+ course will help you live an active life. With an older body you need energy and flexibility while avoiding the risk injury. Let Juliet help with that.
Pilates is a great way for seniors to start exercising. It is safe and low impact; it makes backs stronger and strengthens muscles whilst protecting joints. It is also ideal for first-time exercisers and those getting into Pilates for the first time. Its slow, controlled approach means that it gives much longer-term results. It is especially recommended by medical specialists for those with back problems.
We urge you all to bend and stretch and try to stay as flexible as you can as you move into your senior years. The benefits are incredible, join up now!
WHO IS THIS CLASS FOR?
This class will be enjoyable for beginners as well as people who have previously exercised. This is the ideal class for people who want to work within any constraints their body may present. If you are easing into exercise then this will be the perfect class to start.

What students say about this class:
Eileen P. (December 2022)
Thoroughly enjoyed the whole year of Pilates 60+ class. Fabulous teacher.
Diane M. (December 2022)
Venue: Excellent – always clean, welcoming, warm, interesting
Tutor: Juliet is absolutely wonderful. Warm, caring, professional and sensitive to the abilities and needs of her clients. She encourages us to extend ourselves but always ensures we do only what is right for us as individuals knowing our own capacities.
Class: We have a growing friendship with each other as most of us have been doing the same class for a number of years. This meets the need for community which is a high need in our age group as health, marital status, work status etc changes and isolation can become a major issue.
Benefits: The health benefits of this class are very important for our age group in terms of balance, flexibility, muscle tone etc. Doing this class is part of my well-being and I’m very grateful for it.
