Painting for Kids

Making Pictures is a fun introduction to art for kids ages 6 to 10 years. Children will be exposed to different styles of art, a colour explosion of paint and other mediums. The course topics are varied. Our teacher, Kimmy will teach the basics of drawing and painting.

What happens in the class:

The children will begin by exploring various mediums such as paints, pastels, dyes, graphite pencils, and more. Then, using a step-by-step process, they will learn essential layout and composition principles. Additionally, they will develop new techniques with paintbrushes and sponges to expand their creative skills. Moreover, our supportive tutors encourage each student to add their own unique spin to every piece. As the term progresses, children typically complete 3 to 4 projects, depending on the group’s overall advancement.

What does Making Pictures provide:

In our Making Pictures class, kids gain valuable skills to support their artistic journey in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Meanwhile, music plays in the background to create a fun, creative atmosphere. Additionally, kids draw and paint alongside like-minded peers, often gaining inspiration from each other. Furthermore, they receive ongoing mentorship from our friendly, experienced tutors who guide and support their growth every step of the way.
