Welcome to our exciting Make a Mini Table woodworking workshop for children! This fully hands-on experience offers an engaging opportunity for your child to learn various woodworking techniques and master the use of a power drill and other woodworking tools. They’ll start by practicing and perfecting their skills, then use their newly acquired knowledge to create a fully functional wooden side table you and they will be proud of.
But there’s more to our workshop than just creating a unique piece of furniture. We’re going to be making a piece of furniture that has already had life as a piece of furniture. We will share with them the importance of reducing waste. That’s why we’re providing a chance to work with off-cuts and reclaimed wood. A hands-on practical project such as making a table is a convincing and enjoyable way to help children understand the positive impact that re-purposing materials can have on the environment.
In addition to having fun and creating something special, participants will develop valuable skills that they can use in their daily lives. By gaining confidence in using power tools and learning woodworking techniques, they’ll be able to tackle new and different projects at home with ease.
We’ll also be sharing important lessons about taking care of our possessions and not being wasteful. This workshop will motivate children to think and consider how to make a positive changes in what they do.
So if you’re looking for an enriching activity for your child that combines creativity, learning, and sustainability, our Make a Mini Table woodworking workshop is the perfect choice.
