Intro to Brush Lettering is a fun and creative workshop. It is all about making time for you, slowing down and being immersed in the beautiful world of lettering.
Learn the basics of modern brush lettering in this very beginner friendly class. We will be using a brush pen in this lettering workshop. We start by building the foundations of lettering; how to grip your pen, basic lettering strokes, how to link it together and then we move on to the lower case alphabet during this 3 hour workshop. Jay will provide one on one help and advice to guide you so you can leave with the confidence to continue your lettering journey at home.
Each attendee will take home your own curated trio of brush pens, our exclusive brush lettering workbook which includes tips, ideas, additional worksheets to keep you challenged – and all the details on where to purchase our favourite supplies!
Come join us for a morning / afternoon of creativity, mindfulness and refreshments in a relaxed and fun environment.

What past attendees have to say about Jay’s Intro to Brush Lettering workshops:
‘I loved this workshop. Everything was beautiful from the space to the setup to the snacks. Jay explained things in an easy to understand way without making anyone feel rushed and the time went by so quickly. I would definitely recommend and happily attend another.’
‘I just want to say thank you so so much for the absolutely perfect workshop on Sunday! It was by far one of my highlights of the year! Every little detail was amazing and you were so patient and helpful. I hope you run more workshops next year – my mum and my aunty both want to come. Thank you so much, you’re one talented lady.’
‘Just Wow! The setting, the snacks, the music was so great and perfect for your lettering workshop. I had such a lovely afternoon learning to do a skill I have always wanted to do. Jay, you were so welcoming and such a great teacher. You made it look so easy but also had everything set up perfectly to make it easy for us to learn as well. Would highly recommend!’
