Frida Kahlo had a unique personality and a love of Mexico. She painted many self-portraits. In this Frida Kahlo Acrylic workshop children will replicate one of her paintings onto canvas using acrylic paints. Frida was a colourful person but lived a somewhat sad life. Maree will teach children in a step-by-step method enabling them to complete a Frida Kahlo Acrylic canvas they will be proud to hang on the wall.
Our tutor Maree Presnall will be running this workshop. Her step by step method and instructions are well appreciated by children who feel gently guided to a final artwork they are proud of.
Maree also teaches term time Drawing and Sketching courses on a Tuesday and Wednesday afterschool for ages 10 – 15 years.

My 6 year old son attended the Tropical Pineapple Holiday Programme with Maree. He loved it, it was his first art class and I was unsure how he would go as he can sometimes be a bit shy. He loved it! He doesn’t normally like using paints and he has asked for a paint set and asked to do more classes. I was so impressed with his art, he did an amazing job and he really enjoyed how the teacher took him through step by step. Highly recommend.
