Let your child’s imagination run wild as they discover the calming and creative aspects of working with clay. Raewyn will show them techniques and spark ideas, allowing them to create their own interesting characters, ornaments, and keepsakes. In the first session the children will design and make lots of fun items. In the second session they will be ready and waiting to be brought to life as they are painted and fired again to form durable and strong treasures.
This workshop has two parts:
Session One: Thursday 6 July 9am – 12pm Children make and create
Session Two: Thursday 13 July 9am – 10:30am Children decorate and glaze
About the tutor:
Raewyn is an experienced tutor and has been working with clay for 40 years. See her tutor profile here.
She is a wonderful tutor who helps kids ‘fire up’ their imagination. Additionally, she gives them the confidence to get stuck in and let their hands do their thing!
