Carve, Ink, Print – From Soft Block to Striking Impressions!
First, learn the foundations of stamp carving under Sandra’s expert guidance. Step by step, you’ll discover how to transfer your design onto a 5cm x 5cm rubber block. Then, you’ll explore how to work with the correct carving tools to create fine details or bold, graphic shapes. Along the way, you’ll also master the balance of positive and negative space to achieve clean, striking results.
Whether you love graphic patterns, botanical motifs, or playful illustrations, this workshop gives you the confidence to keep printmaking at home.
When your bespoke stamps are carved, it’s time to ink and print. Experiment with different layouts and colour combinations. Then, create a beautiful collection of handmade gift cards, gift tags, and wrapping paper. As a result, you’ll leave with personalised stationery and thoughtful, handcrafted pieces perfect for birthdays, holidays, and special occasions.
At the end of the session, you’ll take home two custom rubber stamps, along with your finished printed designs.
