Can Pigs Fly? – A Papier-Mâché Adventure
Let your imagination take flight in this hands-on holiday workshop! Led by our talented and inspiring tutor Maree, kids will explore the magical world of flying pigs while learning the fundamentals of sculpture using simple armature and papier-mâché techniques.
🐷 Session 1: Sculpt Your Flying Pig
In the first session, children can dream big and build their own fantastical flying pig from scratch. Experiment with shapes, textures, and sizes to create wings, snouts, curly tails, and any whimsical features they can imagine. No limits – if you can dream it, your pig might fly!
🎨 Session 2: Paint, Decorate & Bring your pig to life
Once the sculptures have dried, it’s time to add colour and personality. Kids will paint, decorate, and embellish their flying pigs with vibrant colours, sparkles, patterns, and imaginative touches that make their creations soar.
This workshop is perfect for young artists who love hands-on creative fun. Each child will leave with their own magical flying pig to display and treasure.

WORKSHOP DETAILS:
Session One: Monday 13 April, 9am – 12pm – Build your flying pig
Session Two: Friday 17 April, 9am – 12pm – Paint & finish your pig
