Make and decorate 6 unique Bowls in a Day
Looking to explore your creativity and try your hand at ceramics? Join our Bowls in a Day hand building workshop! Experiment with texture, shape, and color using slab techniques to create your unique and beautiful set of 6 bowls.
Start by wedging the clay to remove air pockets and ensure consistency. Then use a slab roller or hand roll the clay, cut and shape it into your desired form. Decorate the surface using various tools, textures, or glazes. Afterward, let the bowls dry and fire them in a kiln to harden and strengthen the clay. Finally, we clear glaze them and fire them again, ready for collection.
Throughout the workshop, make and decorate six medium sized bowls perfect for your cereal, salads or dessert. Our talented instructor Lara Thomas will guide you with hand-building and support you throughout the process.
