Realising through clever design that contemporary items can be made easily using different colour combinations in the granny squares. Don’t forget to check out our pinterest board for inspiration. \nCrochet is something beginners can learn quickly. DESCRIPTION:The daytime and evening Jewellery Making courses are designed to suit all skill levels in a fun friendly environment. \nAs a beginner\, our tutor will firstly guide you step by step while you make a simple ring band. After that\, you will be all set to start designing and making your first pendant or pair of earrings. Students will be incorporating basic skills and techniques and becoming familiar with jewellery hand tools and other workshop equipment. A great way to be as adventurous and creative as you dare! \nIf you have worked with jewellery before and are a more competent artist\, then this is an opportunity to skill build and learn some advanced techniques to work with. You will be encouraged to work on more complex designs with the expert guidance and skills of Maca. \nBeginners can purchase your Starter Pack directly from your tutor for $50. DESCRIPTION:Making Pictures is a fun introduction to art for kids ages 6 to 10 years. Children will be exposed to different styles of art\, a colour explosion of paint and other mediums. The course topics can include kiwiana NZ\, animals\, birds and a few landscapes thrown in the mix. Our teacher\, Amber will teach the basics of drawing and painting. \nWhat happens in the class:\nThe children will use various mediums such as paints\, pastels\, dyes\, graphite pencils and more.\nUsing a step by step process\, kids will learn layout and composition principles.\nThey will be learning new techniques using paint brushes and sponges.\nOur tutors are both supportive and encourage the students to put their own individual spin into their artwork.\nChildren usually complete 3 to 4 projects per terms\, depending on the group’s advancement. \nWhat this class provides:\nFrom our Making Pictures class\, kids will gain valuable skills to use in their artistic journey in a relaxed environment. Music is usually played in the background\, kids get to draw and paint with other like-minded children and get inspiration from each other. They also get on-going mentorship for our friendly and experienced tutors. \nWho is this class designed for?\nThis art class is suitable for any child between 6 and 10 years old.\nPlease do not register children under the age of 6 in this class. \nWhat to bring?\nBringing an art shirt is recommended.\nAll other materials are included in this class. \nIn Amber’s classes (Tuesday\, Thursday)\, your child is likely to make Neon bright bold colours type of works.
