You will learn easy-going techniques that cover the basics of drawing\, watercolouring and journaling. \nYou will learn how to bring your travel sketches to life using vibrant watercolours\, adding depth\, texture\, and luminosity to your artwork. \nThe focus for this workshop is the emphasis on travel journaling. Gain invaluable tips on how to observe and capture fleeting moments\, architectural wonders\, landscapes\, and moments with intricate detail. You will learn to translate your travel experiences onto paper and make your lasting memories unique. Drawing or Painting on location forces you to be present. It helps you strip away the detail and focus on capturing the essence of the subject. The sketching can take only a short time 15 – 40 minutes depending on the subject. \nDelve into a creative process\, experiment\, take risks\, and explore different artistic watercolour styles. Immerse yourself in the magical world of watercolour travel journalling and create lasting memories through your art. \nPay attention to travel experiences important to you. It could be people enjoying coffee at a cafe\, tomatoes hanging from a balcony\, unusual buildings or paths leading to nowhere. Sketch them as a travel watercolour is worth way more than a few images left sitting on your smartphone! \nYOU WILL TAKE HOME:\nA travel watercolour example made by you to use when creating your next travel journal. \nTHINGS YOU NEED TO BRING:\nWatercolour paints. A mix of colours\, whatever you have should be fine\, but at least a red\, cobalt blue\, French ultramarine blue\, a cool yellow and a warm yellow\, Payne’s grey or neutral tint and white.\nWatercolour pad suitable for travel\nWatercolour brushes small & large or what you have.\nA waterproof black ink pen (similar to a Staedtler 0.5 pigment liner).\nMasking tape or art tape\n2B pencil and eraser\nSketchbook\nTissues and a small old rag \n  \nPlease note there is NO refund or a transfer if you cancel less than 7 days in advance or once the class/workshop has started.
