If you love the look and scent of beautifully crafted soaps, this 3 hour Soap Making workshop is the perfect opportunity to learn how to make your own from scratch.
In the theory part you will find out how soap works and you will learn about the cold process method of soap making. Topics covered include colouring and fragrancing your soap, adding other ingredients such as clays and exfoliants to your soaps, natural soapmaking, and troubleshooting.
During the practical session, you will make a small loaf of soap (500 ml), which is approximately 4 full sized or 8 guest sized bars. All materials and ingredients are included, and each participant will also receive a silicon mold that they get to keep.

Gorgeous setting at Uxbridge in Howick. Great studio set up and healthy yummy food options at the cafe. The soap-making course was well worth it. I learnt so much about the scientific side with fascinating soap history to boot! The teacher was passionate and very knowledgeable and whole-heartedly willing to share her ‘secrets’ of soap-making.
