Nadin Rathgeber

profile-imageI have a pure love for training and passion for espresso coffee. I established mywell known business “Ask me 4 Coffee” back in 2007 and the business has been thriving ever since also delivering workshops with the same passion and enthusiasm as 2007. My knowledge and skills started to grow  10 years ago in London with the help of Lavazza, who trained me to become a trainer and I have been in this role ever since.

I’m an independent barista trainer and my aim is to help the industry with high class barista training trying to eliminate “bad” coffee which can still be found in many places.

I have been a contract assessor for HSI and used my skills and knowledge at barista competitions at both regional and national levels. I hold a Craft trainer award (UK qualification) as well as the Level 5 National Certificate in Adult Education. My background is in Hospitality Management, a profession I love and have been working in for 20 years; in Germany, the UK and New Zealand.

Students trained by me have won competitions at the Culinary Fare in four consecutive years in classes Junior Barista and Cafe beverage.

Besides these great results we have placed many junior barista into work places. My company has created a workshop based qualification ladder which covers all aspects of skills required in today’s Z hospitality establishments. My business has  now grown to include coffee roasting and distributing so there is no slowing down for me.
