Anne Wyrill

I am an experienced teacher in NZ Sign Language and Deaf Culture, sharing my knowledge with many hearing students for over 20 years on and off  in England for 9 years and then continued once moving to New Zealand. English Sign Language is different to NZ and around 70% the same.

I have been an assistant NZSL tutor for Deaf children, their teachers and parents in Auckland also teaching Deaf Adults learning Driving licence courses.  In England, I worked as Care Manager Social Worker for Deaf people and an advocate for their needs.

I currently volunteer in schools as support for children learning basic NZSL and also teach NZ Sign Language whenever I get the opportunity.
