St Andrew’s Big Band (SABB) makes a welcome return to UXBRIDGE to present a special tribute to the legendary Duke Ellington. Following on from SABB’s tribute to Count Basie in 2019 the band are excited to present a concert dedicated to the genius of Duke Ellington – one of the greatest jazz composers and band leaders of all time whose recordings remain among the most popular jazz of the big-band era. The programme will include some of his biggest hits including “Take the ‘A’ Train”, “In A Mellow Tone”, “I’m Beginning To See the Light” and “It Don’t Mean A Thing (If It Ain’t Got That Swing)”. Tickets are $15 with proceeds going to local charities.

Thursday 8 October, 8:00PM start.
